Sarah (Aleesha Fox) is next for the cane, and there is fear in her eyes as the teacher takes a practice swing and the cane whistles through the air. Two minutes later, there are six neat parallel stripes on her bottom. As Miss Mathews admires her handiwork, poor Sarah realises the error of her ways.
